Transfer Founder Access

Move eligible Founder Access from one Discord server to another.

Founder Access belongs to one server at a time. If you move your community to another server, eligible access can move with it. Monthly subscriptions do not use this transfer flow.

Check whether you can transfer

The purchase owner is the account linked to the payment for Founder Access. To start the transfer, that account must also have Manage Server in both the current and destination servers.

The destination must have BabelBot installed and be on the Free plan. It cannot already have Pro, Ultra, or Founder Access.

Some older one-time access has no verified purchase owner. In that case, the person starting the transfer must own the destination server in Discord.

The first eligible transfer is available immediately. After a transfer, you must wait 90 days before moving access again. Some individually granted access stays with its original server and cannot be transferred.

The transfer page shows unavailable servers and eligibility information. Permission to manage a server alone does not make you the purchase owner.

Move the access

  1. Sign in to the dashboard with the eligible account.
  2. Open Founder Access transfer from the sidebar when it is available.
  3. Choose the current server and the eligible destination.
  4. Check both server names. You must wait 90 days before another move.
  5. Type the destination server's name exactly as shown, then select Move founder access.
  6. Open Billing for both servers and check which one now has Founder Access.

Only Founder Access moves. The destination keeps its existing translation settings. The old server loses Founder Access. Check its plan limits and settings after the move.

BabelBot emails the verified purchaser with the old server, new server, and account that started the transfer. If you receive an unexpected transfer email, use its support link.

Move it back

You can start another eligible transfer after the 90-day wait. There is no immediate undo button. Check the destination carefully before confirming.

For subscription changes and invoices, see Billing and limits.
